The one area that I continually improve on is my Consultation Skills. I am always really interested in finding the root cause of my client’s health issues and the Consultation process is key to this. When we are training to be Complementary Therapists, we learn the importance of listening and reading body language. Sometimes the dis-ease picture is very clear but sometimes we get conflicting information and determining a way forward with our treatments can be confusing.
Some clients gain great benefits from our treatments and aftercare, while others may not really take on the ‘aftercare advice’ and as a result, the benefits of the treatment are diminished a little.
This workshop looks at taking all the information from our consultation and processing it in a way that gives us a clear picture of how this particular client is out of balance. Using the 5 elements as a template, we can break down our findings and easily see what needs to rebalance. The elements really give us a deeper understanding and a truly holistic view of our clients.
This course is suitable for qualified massage therapists, reflexologists, and Aromatherapists who wish to enhance their current treatments.
